About the Fair Board

We are here to make this the best week of the summer for the Youth in Gratiot County.  It is our hope that all kids who want to show at the fair are able to do just that.  Kids come first and fair is a week for the KIDS!

What We Do

We plan, organize, fund, implement and evaluate a community based youth fair in collaboration with the Gratiot County 4-H program and FFA Chapters.

We provide a quality venue in Gratiot County for livestock and horse shows, 4-H meetings and programs, camper rallies, and community events.

We maintain and develop grounds entrusted to us by Gratiot County to provide safe and exceptional exhibition areas and facilities. We ensure quality infrastructure on our grounds.

Our board meets are at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Bill & Grace Vanderbeek Fair office at the Fairgrounds.

Join as a Supporter

The fair creates a budget incorporating revenue generated through program income, philanthropic giving, grants, and fundraisers to provide a quality fair, maintain and grow our facilities, pay staff, cover fees, insurance, utilities and supplies.

We are able to maintain a quality fair thanks to our supporters from our generous community.
